The short answer
At Alvin's Club Studio an AI product video costs 3 credits for 8 seconds, 4 credits for 12 seconds and 5 credits for 15 seconds, and 1 credit is $1. So a single 8-second video is $3 at the list price, and about $2.14 if you buy the largest credit pack. Your first video is free: 8 seconds, small watermark, email only, no card. There is no subscription and credits never expire. You pay for every video we generate. Scripts we stop in review and videos that fail to generate are free.
The more useful number is not the price of one video but the cost of a video you actually post. This guide shows both, with the full price table and a simple way to work out your own cost per usable video.
Price per video, by length
Every self-serve video is vertical (9:16), made from a product page link or 1-3 product photos, with an AI model wearing or using your product, a voiceover, and a caption and hashtags delivered as editable text. It is usually ready in about 10 minutes. The only thing that changes the price is the length:
- 8 seconds: 3 credits ($3). Enough for a hook, the product in use and a call to action. Most sellers start here when testing many products.
- 12 seconds: 4 credits ($4). Room for a second selling point or a short styling moment.
- 15 seconds: 5 credits ($5). The longest option, for products that need a little more showing, such as a piece of furniture being used.
Recreating a public TikTok demo of your own product (a remake, for home goods) costs 1 credit more than a regular video: 4 credits for 8 seconds. The free video can't be a remake. Clothing lookbooks are separate: 5 free sets a day per account, then 1 credit per set.
Price per video, by credit pack
Credits are sold at $1 each, and credit packs add bonus credits on top. The bigger the pack, the bigger the bonus, so the price of an 8-second video falls as you buy more at once:
- Starter: $10 for 10 credits, about 3 videos, $3.00 per 8-second video.
- Popular: $30 for 36 credits, 12 videos, $2.50 per 8-second video.
- Pro: $60 for 78 credits, 26 videos, about $2.31 per 8-second video.
- Studio: $150 for 210 credits, 70 videos, about $2.14 per 8-second video.
Your first purchase gets 10% more credits on top of the pack. Credits never expire and are non-refundable, so a bigger pack only makes sense if you expect to use it; there is no deadline pushing you to spend it this month. Full details are on the pricing page.
What you are charged for, and what you aren't
The rule is short: you pay for every video we generate. Scripts we stop in review and videos that fail to generate are free. Credits for failed videos go back to your balance.
That means a few things in practice:
- A finished video is charged, even if you would like changes. A finished video can't be edited in place.
- A new version is a new video at the normal price. From a finished video's page you can choose Make another like this, Change scene or Try another angle; each one is a new video.
- A script we stop before making the video costs nothing, and neither does a video that fails to generate.
- There is no monthly fee, no seat price and no minimum order.

Cost per video vs cost per usable video
The price list tells you what one video costs. What you care about is what it costs to get a video you are happy to post. Those two numbers differ for three reasons.
- Not every video makes the cut. AI video can slip from your product: a shade, a print, a logo or a small detail. We make every effort to keep your product consistent with your photos, but you should check each video before you post it, and some you will set aside.
- Not every angle works for your audience. Even a video that matches your product perfectly well may simply not be the hook your buyers respond to.
- Versions cost the same as first tries. If you make a second version of a video, that is a second video on your bill.
A simple way to work it out: take what you spent on videos in a month and divide it by the number of videos you posted. If you spent 36 credits from a Popular pack and posted 10 of the 12 videos you made, your cost per posted video is $30 divided by 10, or $3. Track that number rather than the list price, and improve it with better inputs (below), not by ordering fewer videos.
Why AI video sometimes drifts from the product, and what lowers the risk, is covered in why AI product videos sometimes change your product.
How to lower your cost per usable video
- Start from a clean product page. Shopify and most online stores work, plus Amazon (US/Canada), Etsy, Walmart (US), eBay (US), AliExpress, Temu, TikTok Shop (US), SHEIN (US), Shopee (Thailand/Brazil) and Lazada (Indonesia). If a page can't be read, upload product photos and a name instead.
- Use clear photos of the product alone, in its true color, ideally from more than one angle. Busy photos with several products or text over the item make drift more likely.
- Test short first. An 8-second video is the cheapest way to find out whether a product and a hook work. Move to 12 or 15 seconds for products that have already shown promise.
- Make a few angles per product, not one. Each video has its own hook, scene and script, so a handful gives you a real comparison.
- Review before posting, against your listing: color, print, logo, shape and parts.
- Keep what sells and make more like it. Make another like this keeps the product and settings and changes the rest.

How other ways of buying product video are charged
It helps to compare like with like. Without quoting anyone's prices, here is how the main options usually charge:
- Human UGC creators are usually priced per video, often with the product and shipping on top, and take days to weeks.
- Subscription AI tools charge a monthly fee for an allowance of videos or credits, and you usually write the prompt or the script yourself. Unused allowance may not carry over.
- Agencies bundle strategy, production and reporting, priced per project or on a retainer.
- Per-video AI studios like ours charge only for the videos you order, and write the script from your product link.
Check the terms of anything you consider: is it per video or a subscription, do credits expire, do you get commercial use of the videos, and is a failed video charged? Our side-by-side of payment models is at pay per video vs subscription vs pay for results (done for you).
When a per-video price isn't the right model
Self-serve suits sellers who post their own videos and want many of them fast. If you would rather have a team pick products, make and post the videos and track sales, our done-for-you program is paid by results: a very low basic production cost per successful video, plus commission (CPS) on sales. We win when you sell: beyond the production cost, we earn mainly when you sell. We don't promise a sales volume or ROAS, and the terms are agreed with our team before we start. See done for you, or read how done-for-you product videos are paid.
Self-serve is not part of that arrangement: it is charged per video, as above.
