The short answer
You don't need the product in your hands to make a video ad for it. Paste the supplier or store page link, or upload 1-3 supplier photos and the product name, and an AI video studio makes a vertical video with an AI model wearing or using the product, a voiceover, and a caption and hashtags. With Alvin's Club Studio an 8-second video costs 3 credits ($3, about $2.14 in the largest credit pack) and is usually ready in about 10 minutes. Your first video is free.
Self-serve covers clothing, personalized jewelry and home goods. Review every video against the supplier's listing before you run it as an ad, and label it as AI-generated where the platform asks.
Why dropshippers struggle with video
Video is where short-form ads and shoppable feeds live, and dropshipping makes it hard in a few specific ways:
- No stock to film. The product ships from a supplier, so there is nothing on your desk to shoot. Ordering a sample for every product you test slows everything down and costs money before you know whether the product will move.
- Many products, short lives. Dropshipping runs on testing: most products don't sell, and the few that do need fresh creative quickly.
- Supplier assets are thin. Supplier photos are usually white-background shots or catalog images, often shared by many stores selling the same item.
- Creative fatigues. An ad that worked last week stops working when the audience has seen it too often, so you need new angles on demand.
A per-video AI studio answers each of these: the product page or supplier photos are enough, a video costs a few dollars, and a new angle takes minutes rather than a reshoot.
How it works, from supplier page to ad
- Add the product. Paste the link. Supplier and store pages both work: Shopify and most online stores, plus Amazon (US/Canada), Etsy, Walmart (US), eBay (US), AliExpress, Temu, TikTok Shop (US), SHEIN (US), Shopee (Thailand/Brazil) and Lazada (Indonesia). If a page can't be read, upload product photos and a name instead.
- Pick a length and a model: 8, 12 or 15 seconds, and one of our AI models, or let the studio choose.
- Get the video in about 10 minutes: vertical 9:16, the product worn or used in a real setting, a voiceover, and a caption and hashtags as editable text. Self-serve videos come without text in the frame, so you add on-screen text in your ad tool if you want it.
- Check it against the listing: color, print, shape and parts. If something is off, don't run it.
- Run it as an ad or post, and keep the ones that sell.

What you can make self-serve
Self-serve makes clothing, personalized jewelry (names, initials, dates, birthstones) and home goods: furniture, bedding, decor and bath. For bedding, decor and bath, send your product page and an English TikTok video showing the same product. Not lamps or rugs.
For dropshippers that maps to a few common stores:
- Apparel and print-on-demand clothing: supplier photos are enough; the product is shown worn by an AI model in a styled setting.
- Personalized jewelry: name necklaces, initial pieces, date and birthstone jewelry.
- Furniture: chairs, sofas and other pieces shown in use in a real-looking room.
Wigs appear in our samples but can't be ordered self-serve. For other categories, talk to our team about done for you.
Testing products and hooks on a budget
The point of cheap video is not one perfect ad; it is many honest tests. A practical routine:
- Make several videos per product, each with its own hook, scene and script. Keep the one that sells.
- Start at 8 seconds. At 3 credits it is the cheapest test. Make 12- or 15-second versions (4 and 5 credits) of products that have already shown promise.
- Refresh when an ad tires. From a finished video's page, Make another like this, Change scene or Try another angle keeps the product and makes a new video. Each new version is a new video at the normal price.
- Buy credits in a pack if you test a lot. Popular is $30 for 36 credits (12 eight-second videos), Pro is $60 for 78 credits, Studio is $150 for 210 credits. Credits never expire, so a pack bought in a busy week still works in a quiet one.
You pay for every video we generate. Scripts we stop in review and videos that fail to generate are free. For the full math of cost per posted video, read how much an AI product video costs per video; prices and packs are on the pricing page.
Staying honest with AI video ads
Dropshipping already carries trust problems, and AI video can make them worse if it is used carelessly. A few rules keep you on the right side of buyers and platforms:
- Show the product you ship. AI video can slip from your photos: a shade, a print or a small detail. We make every effort to keep your product consistent with your photos, but check each video against the supplier listing. A video that shows a nicer product than the one that arrives turns into refunds and bad reviews.
- Label AI content. Instagram and TikTok both have an AI label for realistic AI-generated content. Our files carry Content Credentials that mark them as AI-generated.
- Don't fake a review. The person in the video is an AI model. Don't present it as a real customer who bought and used the product.
- Keep claims to the listing. Materials, sizes and features in the voiceover should match what the product page says.
What the platforms say about AI content is summarized, with sources, in are AI videos allowed on TikTok Shop. Why AI video drifts and how to lower the risk is in why AI product videos sometimes change your product.
A simple weekly routine
Dropshipping rewards a steady rhythm more than a perfect plan. One way to run it:
- Monday: pick candidates. Choose a handful of products from your supplier catalog that fit the categories above and have clear photos.
- Make two or three 8-second videos per product, each with a different hook or scene. Check each one against the listing and set aside any that drift.
- Run small tests with the videos you keep, as organic posts or low-budget ads.
- End of week: keep what moved. For products that sold, make longer 12- or 15-second versions and new angles. Drop the rest without regret: they cost a few dollars, not a shoot.
Because credits never expire, you can buy a pack once and draw on it week after week, and a quiet week costs nothing.
Where the videos go
You download the video and post it or upload it to your ad account yourself. Use the videos you pay for in your ads and posts. If you work inside an AI assistant, the studio also runs in Meta Muse, ChatGPT, Claude and Codex CLI. Posting: Instagram through Meta Muse and LinkedIn with our connector. TikTok and YouTube are coming.
If you would rather not run testing yourself, our team can do it done for you, paid by results: a very low basic production cost per successful video, plus commission (CPS) on sales. We win when you sell, and we don't promise a sales volume or ROAS. Terms are agreed with our team before we start; see done for you.
