The short answer
For TikTok Shop, look for an AI video generator that starts from your product, not from a blank prompt. Paste the listing link (or upload a few product photos), get a short vertical video of the product worn or used, with a voiceover and a caption, and post it with the AI-generated label turned on. With Alvin's Club Studio, a TikTok Shop (US) product link becomes an 8, 12 or 15 second 9:16 video in about 10 minutes, for 3, 4 or 5 credits (1 credit is $1, less in credit packs). Your first video is free: 8 seconds, small watermark, email only, no card.
What a TikTok Shop product video needs
TikTok Shop videos are watched in a fast feed, often with the sound on, and the buy button sits right under the video. That shapes what works:
- A hook in the first two seconds: a wish, a frustration or a surprise the viewer recognises. Most viewers decide to keep watching or scroll almost at once.
- The product in use: worn, held, sat on or styled in a real-looking setting, not floating on a plain background. Fit, size and movement are what buyers can't judge from photos.
- One clear reason to buy: the fabric, the personalization, the comfort, the occasion. A short video that lists everything says nothing.
- A spoken voiceover, so the selling point lands even when the viewer isn't reading.
- A call to action that matches the buy button: tap the product, check the size, pick the color.
- Volume: one video per product is rarely enough. Sellers who test several hooks and scenes per product learn faster which ones find buyers.
Three kinds of AI video generator
"AI video generator" covers very different tools. For selling a product on TikTok Shop, they fall into three groups:
- General text-to-video tools: you describe a scene and the tool generates it. Good for concept shots and mood films. Your exact product doesn't have to appear, and usually won't unless you work hard at it.
- Avatar tools: you write a script and pick a presenter who talks to camera. Good for explainers. The product is often shown beside the presenter rather than worn or used.
- Product video studios: you give a product page link or photos, and the studio writes the script, casts an AI model and makes a video of that model wearing or using your product. This is the group built for shoppable product video, and the one Alvin's Club Studio belongs to.
Our page comparing AI UGC tools with a product video studio goes through what each type is good at, without naming products.
What to check before you pay
- Does it read your TikTok Shop link? We read Shopify and most online stores, plus Amazon (US/Canada), Etsy, Walmart (US), eBay (US), AliExpress, Temu, TikTok Shop (US), SHEIN (US), Shopee (Thailand/Brazil) and Lazada (Indonesia). If a page can't be read, upload product photos and a name instead.
- Does your product stay your product? AI video generates each frame anew, so a color, a print or a small part can drift. We make every effort to keep your product consistent with your photos. AI video can still slip, so check each video before you post it. Our guide on why AI product videos sometimes change your product explains what helps.
- Who writes the script? If you have to write prompts and retry, the cost of a video includes your time. With us, you tell it what you're selling and get a finished video with script, voiceover, caption and hashtags.
- How are you charged? Per video or per month, and what happens when a video fails. With us: you pay for every video we generate. Scripts we stop in review and videos that fail to generate are free.
- Can you use the videos in ads? The videos you pay for can be used to market your products, in ads and posts.
- Are files labeled as AI-generated? Every file we deliver carries Content Credentials that label it as AI-generated.
- Which categories does it handle? Our self-serve studio makes clothing, personalized jewelry (names, initials, dates, birthstones) and home goods: furniture, bedding, decor and bath. Not lamps or rugs.
From listing to posted video: a simple workflow
- Pick the products to test. Start with listings that already get some views but few orders, or with new arrivals that have no video yet.
- Paste the product link. Copy the TikTok Shop (US) product link, or the same product on your own store. If the page can't be read, upload 1-3 clear product photos and the product name.
- Choose a model and a length. Pick one of our AI models, add yourself as your own model once (10 credits), or let the studio choose. Eight seconds is a good length for a first test; 12 or 15 seconds leave room for a second selling point.
- Get the video. In about 10 minutes you have a vertical 9:16 video with a voiceover, plus a caption and hashtags as editable text. Self-serve videos come without text in the frame.
- Review it. Compare the video with your listing: color, print, shape and parts. If something is off, don't post it; make a new version (a new video, charged at the normal price).
- Post it with the AI label on. Turn on TikTok's AI-generated content label when you post, link the product, and paste the caption and hashtags.
- Make more of what works. From a finished video's page, choose Make another like this, Change scene or Try another angle to get a new version with the same product and settings.
Home goods sellers have one more option: send your product page and an English TikTok video showing the same product, and we remake its moves and pacing with your product and your AI model, never the original footage, audio or words. A remake costs 1 credit more than a regular video (4 credits for 8 seconds).
Posting: where it goes today
You can download every video and post it to TikTok yourself. From our side, posting works through assistants today: post to Instagram through Meta Muse and to LinkedIn with our connector. TikTok and YouTube are coming. You can also make videos from Meta Muse, ChatGPT, Claude or Codex CLI, as well as on the website.
When you post AI-generated product videos, keep to a few rules: turn on the AI label, don't present an AI model as a real customer reviewing the product, keep claims to what your listing says, and disclose affiliate links if you are promoting someone else's product. Our guide to whether AI videos are allowed on TikTok Shop collects the public policy points with links to the sources.
What it costs
An 8-second video is 3 credits, 12 seconds is 4 and 15 seconds is 5. One credit is $1. Credit packs add bonus credits: Starter is $10 for 10 credits, Popular $30 for 36, Pro $60 for 78 and Studio $150 for 210, which brings an 8-second video to about $2.14. Your first purchase gets +10% credits on top. Credits never expire and are non-refundable, and there is no subscription. Full details are on our pricing page, and our guide to what an AI product video costs per video works through the numbers for a week of testing.
When to hand it to our team
Self-serve suits sellers who want to post the videos themselves. If you would rather have a team pick products, make and post the videos and track sales, our done-for-you program is paid by results: a very low basic production cost per successful video, plus commission (CPS) on sales. We win when you sell, and we don't promise a sales volume or ROAS. It also covers categories self-serve doesn't make yet. See done for you, or read what CPS means for TikTok Shop video.
